What we have received, we must give. This is one of the many messages of the story of the multiplication of loaves. Jesus himself gave the loaves to the disciples who, in turn, gave them to the crowds. The blessings we are lavished with are not solely for ourselves. They are meant to be shared. Constantly Jesus reminds us, "You are gifted. Give!" |
