Time and again we hear "no cross, no crown." We are reminded that the transfiguration of Jesus is a foretaste of his resurrection. It tells us that we should not be afraid of passion and death because there is glory to follow. There is no gain if there is no pain. There is glory if there is no guts. There is no crown if there is no cross to bear. |
