Marriage and celibacy are equally noble. They share the same dignity. Whether one finds a partner in life or renounces marriage for the sake of the kingdom, that person is pleasing to God. Two things are important -- the fidelity demanded by both states of life and the sustaining grace that comes from God. Whether married or celibate, you can be clothed with holiness. |
