To be faithful till the end -- That's the kind of commitment being asked of us. Many of the followers of Jesus were unfaithful. When they heard about his discourse on the Bread of Life, they could not take it and started to leave. When life's rowing gets tough, when we can no longer fathom the mysterious ways of God, we are confronted with the question: Are you going to call it quits? |
