Time and again we say that "hypocrisy" is derived from the Greek word that means "actor's mask." The sribes and Pharisees were referred to as hypocrites by Jesus himself because of the so-called "hypocritical facade." On the outside, they appear righteous but inside they are filthy. Aren't we guilty of such hypocritical stance? |
