Inactivity or active waiting? Today's gospel emphasizes the latter. End-time is yet to come. While waiting for that hour which comes when we least expect, we should refrain from passive inactivity. We must act profitably and render service in the spirit of charity. Doing so will make us worthy to meet the Lord at the hour he comes to us. |
