In the frenzy of multiple, oftentimes agitating activities, we need to "retreat" and gather ourselves in a deserted place. Jesus did just that in today's gospel. After curing the sick, he went to a secluded place. Amidst our busy schedule, we should find time to discover in silence the meaning of all that we do. We don't only earn a living. We learn how to live. |
