Law is defined as "an ordinance of reason promulgated for the common good by those who are in charge of society." It must be emphasized that laws are created for the good of the people. In today's gospel, the Pharisees forgot that purpose. They focused on the letter of the law. We are law-abiding but we know the spirit of the law which is love. |
