Physical blindness can be caused by retinopathy while spiritual blindness by spiritual cardiopathy. The latter is the inability to see because of the proverbial wooden beam logged in one's spiritual eye, that is, the incapacity to recognize God's workings in one's life. When the heart is sick and is hardened, one fails to love and loses spiritual sight. |
