St. Padre Pio once said, "Humility, humility and always humility. Satan fears and trembles before humble souls." In today's gospel, the centurion displayed such humility that Jesus himself was amazed. If we are humble enough, recognizing our unworthiness before the holy presence of God, Jesus will be pleased and Satan will tremble in fear. |
