Rely on God. Trust in the Divine Providence. This, in a nutshell, is the challenge of today's gospel. Those sent for a mission were reminded not to bring walking stick, sack, food, money or second tunic. Their focus is the proclamation of the Kingdom. Not worrying about material provisions is itself a preaching. It is telling everyone that God always takes care. |
