St. Padre Pio was always praying in solitude. He imitated Jesus' example in today's gospel. Consistent with the Lucan theme on prayer, today's pericope presents Jesus in communion with his Father. How did Padre Pio accomplish all his saintly toils? It was through his deep personal encounter with God. Worth emulating! |
