A person who loves is not afraid to die. He knows that such love gives him wings to soar to the highest heaven. Today's gospel on judgment day centers on love. It makes us understand the words of St. John of the Cross, "In the evening of our life we shall be judged on love." What we hold in our hearts, i.e., love, will bring us to heaven. |
