As we celebrate the feast of the Dedication of the Lateran Basilica, the gospel invites us to respect the Church, the house of God. We should not turn this house of prayer into a marketplace. Each time we enter a church, we are reminded, "Your are entering a sacred place. This is the house of God. Leave outside all things that are not of God." |
