When we say "Diyos ang bahala," we actually make a double profession of faith. Bahala is derived from Bathala, a name which our ancestors predicated to God. The gospel assures us that during moments of persecution, our defense is a handgrip because of the wisdom that comes from God. At all times, we are reminded, "God will take charge. Diyos ang Bahala." |
