Aid to the typhoon victims -- This is a timely gift. Those suffering due to the onslaught of Odette need to be gifted with food, clothing and shelter. Today's gospel centers on John whose name [from "Yohanan"] means God's gift. Let's be a gift to others. The new CBCP president reminds us to avoid lavish parties in order to help the typhoon victims. Gifts to the needy we must be. |
