It is always consoling to have a neighbor, one who knows us and is ready to stand by our side. When John says, "The Word dwelt among us," he means that Jesus pitched his tent in our midst. This is the meaning of Christmas. Jesus became our neighbor. He understands our needs. He is one with us. We can always rely on him. |
