"The favor of God was upon him." That was the child Jesus who "grew, became strong and filled with wisdom." All his earthly life he pleased the Father. The same favor of God was upon Anna, the prophetess, who never left the temple but worshiped night and day with fasting and prayer. If we live a holy life, the favor of God will be upon us, too. |
