Had the leper known the language of the millennials, he must have spoken to Jesus this way, "Panginoon, baka naman?" This humble appeal of a man suffering from a virulent skin disease touched Jesus who at once responded, "I do will it. Be made clean." When we pray, let us sincerely appeal to the Lord saying, as it were, "Baka naman?" And he will smile and grant our request." |
