Two hearts are being contrasted today-- the hardened hearts of the Pharisees and the loving heart of Jesus. Evil in their intent, the Pharisees watched Jesus closely to see if he would cure the man with a withered hand on the Sabbath so that they might accuse him. With the purest of intentions, Jesus healed the man. May our hearts be like that of Jesus -- compassionate and loving. |
