Preferring livelihood over the Lord? This is a sad reality. The people of the Gerasenes territory were shocked when Jesus ordered the unclean spirits to enter the herd of swine. They begged the Lord to leave their place lest his presence might further endanger their livelihood. Are we hesitant to go to Church because we prioritize our source of living? Let us not forget. With Jesus we are not making a living. In him we have life and have it abundantly. |
