Slowly but surely. The healing of the blind man in today's gospel is the only incident where miracle happens gradually. It went through stages. Scholars believe that such gradual restoration of sight represents the disciples' gradual understanding of the Messiaship of Jesus. It teaches us that we should not rush through our work. Step by step. Slow but sure! |
