St. Padre Pio once said, "Do not say that you are all alone in climbing Calvary and that you are all alone as you struggle and weep for Jesus is with you and will never abandon you." As we heed today's gospel that invites us to take up our cross daily, let us draw courage from the consoling words of the stigmatic priest. |
