Pope Francis reflected on the "joy of the gospel" (Evangelii Gaudium). The gospel is Jesus Christ. He is the Good News bringing joy to humanity. His presence, like the presence of a bridegroom, evokes joy. With him, there is no room for grief. Christianity is a religion of joy. We always rejoice with the Lord. |
