Do not covet thy neighbor's goods. This commandment was transgressed by the tenants of today's parable. They killed the landowner's son to acquire his inheritance. This happens over and over again. People want to own what is not theirs. They envy others. They steal their properties. They don't recognize rightful ownership. Would that we respect what is not ours. We don’t covet what belongs to others. |
