This sounds ironic "Ang kakilala ay hindi kikilalanin." The townmates of Jesus knew him so well. They could not accept his prophetic works and teachings. Yes, familiarity breeds contempt. Lesson for us: We should never have prejudice against people whose humble beginnings we know so well. People change. They develop. They grow. |
