A great man once said, "To forgive is to set the prisoner free and to discover that the prisoner is myself." Today's gospel speaks of forgiveness beyond measure symbolized by the numbers 70 x 7. The measure of forgiveness is to forgive without measure. When we forgive, we set an erring fellow free. In the end that freedom becomes ours. |
