A great saint once said, "God created you without you but He cannot save you without you." Indeed, human cooperation is necessary. It is a "conditio sine qua non."
In today's gospel, Jesus "saved" himself by not exposing himself to those who plot to kill him. He no longer walked about in public. To a certain extent, he had a "self-quarantine." Updated statistical reports reveal that those staying at home are less susceptible to the deadly virus. A timely reminder! |
