Justice delayed is justice denied. Charity delayed is charity denied. In today's gospel, the man who had been ill for 38 years was long denied of healing because no one helped him. There was no one to put him into the pool when the water was stirred up. This reflects the deprivation suffered by so many people on account of others' selfishness and lack of fraternal solicitude. Yes, charity has been denied. So sad! |
