A perennial question: Where is God? In these trying moments, some people long to feel God's presence. Today's Matthean gospel follows the Theology of Mark especially the apocalyptic language that points to God's manifestation. The death of Jesus on the cross proclaims God's unique intervention in the life and history of His people. Which comforts us during these troubled times. It assures us that God is in our midst. We will never be forsaken. |
