Being wounded is part of human experience. When the Risen Lord appeared to his disciples, he showed them his hands and feet wounded. He wanted to show them that he's not a ghost. He also wished to remind them that they, too, would be wounded. We must be courageous enough to bear our wounds. The Risen Lord who was earlier wounded will be our strength. |
