For those who do not believe, no proof is possible. For those who believe, no proof is necessary. Today's gospel narrates stories of unbelief. Despite testimonies of those who encountered the Risen Lord, people did not believe. We need the grace to believe even in what we do not personally see. With that trusting faith, any proof is simply superfluous. |
