At the door of the tabernacle in one Italian church, the following words of Jesus are inscribed, "Come to me, all of you." These resonate with the Lord's words in today's gospel about the bread of life, "I will not reject anyone who comes to me." Yes, rejection is nowhere to be found in the Divine vocabulary. We are all invited to a communion with God. |
