Bishop Ambo David once shared this reflection, "Our hatred for Judas is really our hatred for the potential Judas that anyone of us can become." Today's gospel may make us hate Judas for betraying Jesus in exchange of thirty pieces of silver. One finger pointed at Judas. Three other fingers pointing at ourselves. We may have that same greed for money, power, and honor. At times, people may have the right to tell us, "Judas ka!" |
