With the turn of events in the Philippines, we ask these questions: Has the fire of hope been extinguished? Has the light of faith been conquered by darkness? The answer is NO. Today's gospel speaks to us. Jesus came as light... that we may not remain in darkness. During the past days, we witnessed a miracle of sharing expresed in love and purified by hope. Let's remain in the brightness of that love and hope. God is with us. |
