"Where do I begin to tell the story of how great a love can be?" -- an old song with a timeless message. How did the Last Supper begin? Today's gospel begins with the devil's entry into the person of Judas. The story began with betrayal. It was a meal of betrayal but Jesus gave it a happy ending. It became a meal of forgiveness. Such is the "Love Story" we keep on retelling when we eat the bread and drink the cup. Let this celebration be our very life. |
