We can disarm persecution by prayer. Jesus did just that. He says, "Realize that the world hated me first... if they persecuted me..." Before his persecutors, he prayed to the Father, " Forgive them for they do not know what they are doing." Let us pray for those who are mean to us, those who malign us. Our prayers for them disarm their evil thoughts and ways. |
