Lest we forget we are always reminded. That's the role of the Holy Spirit whose coming we celebrate during this Solemnity of Pentecost. Fifty days after the resurrection, the Spirit was sent to the believing community. They would have forgotten what Jesus had taught them. The Spirit guided them and guides us to all truth. With the Advocate, we will always remember. |
