"Agere sequitur esse." Yes, "to act" follows "to be." In other words, action follows being. As a being so it acts. Today's gospel says, "Every good tree bears good fruit and a rotten tree bears bad fruit." Human beings, or better still Christians, created unto the image of God, are by nature good and are expected to do good. Do you bear the name "Christian?" Be Christ to others. |
