They say lessons are learned when we have hungry stomach, empty wallet and broken heart. In today's gospel, the apostles' hearts were nearly broken because it was stormy and they thought they were perishing. They learned many lessons. With Jesus, nothing can harm them. When Jesus was sleeping, it means he was completely trusting his Father. Haven't they realized if they were perishing Jesus was perishing, too? So many lessons learned. |
