While everything is possible, I doubt very much if there is really such register of names in heaven. When Jesus told the returning seventy-two that their joy should spring from the awareness that their names are written in heaven, he actually refers to their fellowship with God. Mission was successful because they were in union with the Lord. When we reach heaven, let us not look for our names there. We look for God and enjoy his presence. |
