I dared to translate into Filipino the English poem entitled "The World is Mine." Part of my translation reads, " O Diyos, ako sana'y iyong patawarin kung ako ma'y naging lubhang mainggitin. Mapalad din ako na maituturing. May dalawang mata. Ang mundo ay akin." Today's gospel brings out the same message. "Blessed are your eyes that see..." Indeed we are blessed. "I have two eyes. The world is mine." |
