Holiness of life is the best preparation for meeting the Lord. When Jesus said "Stay awake," he enjoined people to be always prepared for his coming. He does not specify though the correct means to prepare. Just be good and be holy. When you say it you have said it all. Goodness of character and holiness of life make everyone pleasing before the Lord. They are the keys that unlock the heart of God. A good and holy Christian is always awake and prepared. |
