It is sad to know that one person suffers because of another. That was the fate of John the Baptist who suffered death because of Herod. Earlier it was Herodias who suffered due to the courageous preaching of the precursor. But that was due to her because she lived a sinful life. But John had done nothing to deserve such beheading. He simply preached against an irregular/immoral marriage. How many more will suffer because of others' doing? |
