Sinners but called by the Lord. The gospel introduces the twelve apostles who were chosen by Jesus despite their unworthiness. They had their own weaknesses. This is a source of strength for us. We are sinful and miserable but in his great love and mery, God deigned to call us. The choice is his. We only respond with grateful hearts. |
