When the Risen Lord appeared, he instructed his followers to go to Galilee where significant events took place. Galilee, according to Pope Francis is "a place of remembrance." It must have been a nostalgic rendezvous of friends.They must have renewed and strengthened their ties. We constantly need that kind of going back to our roots, to our "homes." We need such kind of renewal. The Galilee of our life will surely rebuild and strengthen our ideals weakened by our crosses. Such "return" will make us live and love again. |
