Dishonest but intelligent. That's the character of the steward in today's gospel. He was praised by Jesus not on account of his dishonesty but his astute creativity in securing his future. Which should be our attitude in securing a place in heaven. We have to be creatively intelligent and intelligently creative in our entry to the Kingdom. What we do here on earth will tell us where we shall be in the next. |
