The call is mysterious. I have examined several vocation stories recorded both in the Old and New Testaments. I have heard similar stories of a number of seminarians. I have reflected on my own vocation story. Yes, God's call is full of mystery. What made Matthew get up immediately to follow Jesus? Truly beyond human understanding. Mysterious as God is. We can only say YES. |
