Glory due his name. This title of a favorite song encapsulates the message of today's gospel. Upon return from mission, the apostles were too pretentious to report on the fall of Satan. As an antidote, Jesus gave praise to His Father who revealed things to the childlike. We have nothing to boast about. It is God who does all things. All praise is due His name. |
