When we overlook things, we look at one thing and miss the other. The scribes and the Pharisees focus on the tithes for the garden herbs and mints but forget their love for God. This very well applies to us. We are remiss of genuine internal spirituality because we emphasize external activities. We are like travellers with eyes focused where we are heading, not seeing where we are right now. |
